Web Development and Design Forward and Backward

This is a site we designed for Tulsa Community College. The site was challenging becuase it was meant to replace a manual paper based system that had been used for several previous years and would require some creative solutions to move online. The site had to allow student and teacher registration based on their school and login's for both administrative, users who would be managing the contest and checking in student packets that were still required becuase of rules concerning signatures, and students who would need to be able to upload digital copies of the art work, manage and organize those works, and create portfolios.We used Ruby on Rails to create the site which is still under development but is expected to offically launch in September of 2006.
